    BSNL Broadband is one of the biggest Broadband service provider in India and in Pune also.  I have been using BSNL broadband for the last four years and never had any problem about connectivity.  But every now and then I experienced variations in speed.  I was not able to visit some websites, even website loading time was too low for some websites.  I was not able to watch streaming videos uninterruptedly.  So, while searching the Internet I came across a site which showed me a very simple but effective idea to increase my BSNL broadband speed.  I am sharing this idea with you, so all puneities would benefit from it.
    After logging on to your computer as an administrator:
    1.  Click on “Start.”
    2.  Click on “Control Panel.”
    3.  Open “Network and Internet Connections” tab.
    4.  Open “Network Connections.”
    5.  Right click on “Local Area Connection.”
    6.  Select “Properties.”
    7.  Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP).
    8.  Now select “Properties” tab below that.
    9.  Select the button “Use the following IP address.”
    10. Fill up IP address if it is blank.
    11. There you will find two rows at the bottom, write the numbers as shown below against them:
    Preferred DNS Server:  208.67.222.222
    Alternate DNS Server:  208.67.220.220
    12. Click “Ok.”
    That’s it.  You are done.  You will get at least 20-25% increase in your BSNL broadband speed.
    The reason behind this is the DNS used by BSNL is always busy and hence is very slow.  If you use the OpenDNS instead, you get a lot better speed.  You may experiment with using Google DNS or Airtel DNS also.
    The second most important thing is to speed up your PC.  For that you have to delete unnecessary files, defragment your hard disk at regular intervals.  To ease the task, please use this free software, Advanced SystemCare.  It will take your load off maintaining your computer.

    • Once you insert the memory card, it will automatically start the unclocker file and resets the Locking code.Once it successfully resets your Locking code, it will prompt a message on white screen with, ‘Press a Key’.
    • Press any key and your code is rested to 12345. Now you can change it any time.That’s it, you are done :)
